This was ok at best… the acting could be better. The storyline was a total mess. Going back and forth with their “morals”was non sense. If this lore ties in with the newwest japanese movie of godzilla. Papa godzilla is going to wipe out this puny one. Not to mention, why are they trying to paint godzilla as a good guy? Completely boggles my mind.

Nice change of pace from the endless superhero movies. I was mildly entertained. First one was a bit better though. 6.5/10

Good lord look at all the nonsense Lol I never understood what ya meant before UB but I see it now!!! Without writing a book that reflects on my life and my deep DEEP feelings about Godzilla, like others seem to wanna do, to each there own I guess. There’s nothing wrong with this movie, hence the key word here “MOVIE”, it’s a modern take on Godzilla just like the last one. This one definitely takes alittle side note with the story but then again, it’s a MOVIE Lol Other than that the monsters are awesome and the movie is well worth watching, despite some other peoples comments haha It’s simple, if you like Godzilla and enjoyed the last one then this one will win ya over as well. Could it of been better? No shit Sherlock, it’s a modern take on an old movie they’ve modernized. Is there anything wrong with this one that would make ya wanna stop watching half way through? Not that I and millions others thought!! Watch it and enjoy it, if you KNOW your not gonna like it then don’t watch and stop ruining it for others with the exaggerated reviews saying it’s bad when almost everybody else enjoyed it. The movie is good, it seems the CAM is even better, enjoy it and move on. Seems simple to me but to each their own haha Thanks again UB!!!!

I think there is a public misconception that the old Godzilla movies were cinematic masterpieces, when in reality there were cheesy, bad acting, bad effects and costumes, etc. But that’s what made them great, they were popular because people loved to make fun of them. When they were Americanized we got the 1998 version that was just awful and annoying. Imo the 2014 movie was filled with over dramatic story’s and barely any Godzilla and I was bored. Now this one is filled with one dimensional characters, horrible dialogue and just bland acting. But makes up for with the monsters, they look great and the fights were cool. I hope the next one has even less human elements and more monsters because that’s what I want in my Godzilla movies. If you a want a fun summer movie I recommend this. 3/5

I am a Godzilla fan and I hated this , a mess of a movie I switched it off halfway through . I enjoyed the first one but this one was all over the place. Anyone atacking negative reviews while praising obviously know it is bad but wanted to like it before they even watched it

Critics were never going to love this movie. For critics to love it, you wouldn’t see Much Kaiju action AT ALL! Critics want human stories that are deep and complex, not a movie about big monsters fighting held together with exposition spewing humans in-between fights. In other words, critics don’t like Godzilla movies. If you are a Godzilla fan, you’ll most likely rate this movie very high, same goes for those who enjoy popcorn flicks.

Before all the harsh *reviews*. Went to the movies and loved it, tons of monster fights and obviously you’ll see more monsters than just Godzilla and whoever he fights. Loved it and idk about the copy in here but stay after credits.
